Quick answer

What does a Shopify migration involve?

A Shopify migration moves your store from another platform onto Shopify. It covers the data — products, variants, customers, orders, gift cards, reviews and content — plus a new or rebuilt theme, apps to replace old plugins, and an SEO plan that maps every old URL to its new address with 301 redirects, so rankings and backlinks follow you to Shopify.

  • Every URL mapped to a 301 redirect
  • Products, customers and order history moved
  • Tested on a staging copy before the switch

What we migrate

Shopify migration services

A planned, tested move from any platform — not a one-click import that leaves the SEO and the details behind.

How it works

From audit to switch-over

A migration is mostly planning and testing. The switch itself is short, scheduled for your quietest hours and fully reversible until DNS moves.

  1. Free 30-minute call

    Audit

Your platform, catalogue, integrations and rankings reviewed, with the risks named up front.

  2. Fixed quote in 48 hours

    Migration plan

Data mapping, redirect plan, app replacements, timeline and price in writing.

  3. Staging store

    Migrate & test

Data moved, theme built and every redirect tested on a staging store before launch.

  4. 30 days of fixes

    Switch & monitor

Final data sync, DNS switch and close monitoring of orders, rankings and errors.

Straight answers

Questions worth asking Questions worth asking

The things brands actually ask us before a build — answered properly, including the times the answer is that you do not need us.

  • Will I lose my Google rankings when I migrate to Shopify?

Not if the migration is planned properly. We crawl your current site, map every URL to its new Shopify address with a 301 redirect, carry over titles, descriptions and content, and monitor Search Console after launch. Small fluctuations in the first weeks are normal; lasting drops usually come from missing redirects, which is what the plan prevents.

  • What data can be migrated to Shopify?

Products and variants with images, customers, order history, gift cards, discount codes, reviews, blog posts and pages. Customer passwords cannot be moved between platforms for security reasons, so we set up an account activation email for returning customers.

  • How long does a Shopify migration take?

Most migrations take four to ten weeks, depending on catalogue size, how much design work is involved and how many integrations need reconnecting. You get a timeline with your fixed quote.

  • Will my store go offline during the migration?

No. We build and test the Shopify store alongside your current one. The switch-over is a short, scheduled step — a final data sync and a DNS change — planned for your quietest time.

  • How much does a Shopify migration cost?

It depends on the platform you are leaving, the size and cleanliness of your data, design work and integrations. After reviewing your store we send a fixed, itemised quote.

  • Can you migrate to Shopify Plus?

Yes. We migrate Magento, Adobe Commerce, Salesforce Commerce Cloud and other enterprise stores to Shopify Plus, including B2B, multiple markets and ERP integrations.
